About the Gemini 105Mc Sailboat

The Gemini 105Mc is one of the most successful production catamarans ever built in the United States. Designed by Tony Smith and manufactured by Performance Cruising in Annapolis, Maryland, the 105Mc was produced from 1993 to 2012. At 33.5 feet LOA with a 14-foot beam, the Gemini offers catamaran-level living space in a package that fits in standard marina slips. Twin daggerboards provide just 1'6" draft when raised, making it ideal for the Chesapeake Bay and other thin-water cruising grounds. The 105Mc is notable for its modest displacement (8,000 lbs) and self-tacking jib, which make it easily handled by a couple. An active owners' association and a strong used-boat market speak to the model's enduring appeal.
