About the Beneteau 361 Sailboat

The Beneteau 361 is a Berret-Racoupeau-designed production cruiser built by Beneteau from 1999 to 2004. Part of Beneteau's Oceanis line, the 361 brought a modern underbody (fin keel with bulb), wide beam, and a spacious interior to the mid-30s cruiser market at an accessible price point. The masthead sloop rig with 718 sq ft of sail area provides lively performance, while the 12'6" beam creates an open, airy cabin with an L-shaped galley and a comfortable nav station. Available in both two- and three-cabin layouts, the 361 remains a popular charter and cruising boat on the used market.
